You are loved (Don’t Give Up) - Josh Groban

Tuesday, June 26th, 2007

Lately super duper lazy T.T

When browsed through friend’s blog (refering to: http://warm-thought.blogspot.com/2007/03/dont-give-up.html)

… find this song lyric by Josh Groban - You are Loved (Don’t GIve Up)

Don’t give up
It’s just the weight of the world
When your heart’s heavy
I, I will lift it for you

Don’t give up

Because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you
I, I will break it for you

Everybody wants to be understood

Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don’t give up
Because you are loved

Don’t give up

It’s just the hurt that you hide
When you’re lost inside
I, I’ll be there to find you

Don’t give up

Because you want to burn bright
If darkness blinds you
I, I will shine to guide you

Everybody wants to be understood

Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don’t give up
Because you are loved
You are loved
Aaaah

Don’t give up

It’s just the weight of the world
Don’t give up
Everyone needs to be heard
You are loved

A very nice songs ~~~

Team Hoyt

Monday, June 18th, 2007

Sunday, 17th June is a father’s day which i started my day called up my dad n wish him a Happy Father’s Day… He was laughing happily listening to that wishes… Wish can give him more… Anyway, my dad always soar highest among the rest =p Go Dad!!!

Then in celebreting this father’s day, Dyana n I were invited to our friend’s church. Hm… should thanx him for the invitation… I did enjoy their program, especially the band, always feel good to see people performing in the stage at their best level… Applause for them… ^ ^

But the best part is when the pastor shared with us a very touching story - of course related to that day topic - Father’s Day…

It’s about a Hoyt family, where a son named Rick was born with disability. When he was eight months old the doctors told Dick n his wife (Rick’s parents) that they should just put him away — he’d be a vegetable all his life, that sort of thing. But Dick didnt give up on his son. He brought him home and try their best to let Rick lives as ‘normal’ as possible.

And now, they has been inspirators, motivators for a lot of people (They dedicate their life in participating in sports - Marathon or Triathlon).

The pastors show us the video of the hardest competition that they had ever participated. I was really touched and cried >.<

From the video, i can see If others has to run in marathon by carrying his/her own body, Dick has to run pushing Rick in his wheelchair. When others has to cycling only by his/her own, Dick has to carry Rick in front of their bike. And if others has to swim and conquer the competition by his/her own,  Dick has to do it together with Rick, with a boat tied to Dick’s waist as he swam.

And what i remember from the story, people asked Dick to compete alone, and he might have defeat the world’s best record if he does so… But what Dick said is "Rick is my  heart beat, and I run for him, so it just impossible if i can run without my heart beat" (not exactly like this, but something which have the same meaning)

Although, Dick’s is ‘crowned’ with "Father of the century" by the world, however inside himself, he might know well, that Rick actually the one who has saved his life.

Coz few years back, Dick was diagnosed having problem with his heart, so if He is not the type that doing sport that much, He might has passed away few years back. Suprising!!!

If wanna know more regarding the Hoyt Team, just go to www.teamhoyt.com

They let me learn "No matter what life throws at you, you can still do whatever you want. it just takes a little more effort and a truck load of determination."

It’s really an inspiring story… J

Suddenly think of some words that cited from a website that sent by my friends a long long time back… Last time, we used to use it quite often to play around… Haha

          "Great mind discusses Ideas,

           Average mind discusses Events,

           Small mind discusses People"

=P Quite true… I think most of Us, or at least I myself has been in the third category for a very long long time… Discussing people, which is equal to GOSSIPING, seems to be a very interesting topic. In fact, it brings nothing at the end.

And the most important thing, Gossiping good things about others still can be accepted (in some senses =P), but BAD things about others?! actually WE are the Worst… It is eternal law… Haha

Whether how true is the "bad" things about others are, In fact the law is still applied.

P.S. Now law subject seems to be the HOTTEST to be discussed. To be more detail, please refer to shanshang633.blogspot.com

-Unconciously, I’m promoting ur blog’s,3… Haha… So no need to retell the Romalpa Case =p -

Just finished the first week of the new sem…

I have no foundation in Business. Or i might said i have a little bit of it… As last time, when i was in Senior high School, we do learn about Accounting… I think that was 2001 or 2002, 5 or 6 years back, Wonderful!!! >.< How could i remember what the teacher had tought us last time, while i think i cant remember what i ate yesterday… Hoho…

Really need to work harder than others… It’s a good news, coz i find out that Business subjects are quite interesting, yet a bad news, coz i JUST REALLY need to work harder to SCORE (last sem, i think i didnt do so good, might be better if no last minute work) =p

Anyways, i’m counting down to October… Why?!!!! Wish i can go back Home by that time… ("(’.')") Home Sweet Home…

Msia Wedding Dinner :p

Sunday, June 3rd, 2007

2nd June is the happiest moment for my friend, Ivone… y?! As always said marriage is one of every girl’s dream… ^ ^   n it’s that nite for Ivone… Omedeto, von… I also feel so happpyyy… dunno why, I just like to attend friends n relative’s wedding… The bride n groom seem to be very very very happy… That’s why I feel very happy also… La ~ la ~ la ~… Haha

Back to the main point… Actually that’s the very first time I attended someone’s wedding in Msia… Compare with Indo, it’s actually not much different… There is only some programs are not in the same sequence…

But there’s something that I felt that it’s so fun here… It is when the both the groom n bride’s family went up to the stage to toast with everybody… As the MC asked everybody to stand up, n raise our glass n toast for the best couple that nite, then everybody stood up n raise our glasses… ‘til here it’s still the same…

The next part is the most interested part for me… :p

MC: bla bla blab la (She was speaking in Cantonese n I dun understand at all -_-!!!)

Everybody: Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)

MC: bla bla bla bla bla (Again, it is Cantonese >.<)

Everybody : Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)

MC: bla blab la bla bla (Now u should know what it is, It is Cantonese!!!)

Everybody: Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)

Do u know what is the fun part here??!!! I wonder why all the uncles in the stage are so energetic in shouting the “Yammmm”. They really did it until they lose their breath, before they continue with the word “Seng”… after that they laughed happily… So cute… Haha…

Before continue to the next story, let me share something that I just learn that nite…

The word of the day “Yam Seng”. I dun really understand what does it mean… But according to my neighbor - The guy who was sitting in the same table with me – He said “Yam Seng” means finishing all the drink in our glasses or something like that :p

It’s like gan bei in mandarin… But I didn’t know that we actually should finish the whole drink in our glasses… No Probs, now, I know… Hehe…

Move on…

After finish the dinner, the married couple was walking around from table to table to toast with the relatives and guests… So u can heard the sound “Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Seeeeeeeeeennnnnng” as they move from one table to next table… It’s not a big hall, so still ok, I wonder how if there are 100 tables there, will they still do it?! Haha… Pity them…

When they came to our table, the Groom can’t drink anymore, instead of beer he took the dessert and drink it… Hoho… That’s why I said pity them…

But I also ‘tiok hai liau’ – know why?! Coz I raised my glass which is Red Wine… n as I said before, “yam seng” means we should finished the whole drink in the glass… n that’s exactly what I should do… The groom is so bad also, he’s pointing to my glass and said “haiyo, should finished it”, as I see everybody finished their drink… so did I… >.<

At the moment I finished it, I feel like burning – like Dumbledore’s phoenix in Harry Potter… Haha… So HOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTT… Siau khi… n of course I were turning red like tomato…

However, it’s fun to be there though… Hehe… n I also brought home chocolate which is packed nicely in the small gold colored box…

So nice… Haha…
