Msia Wedding Dinner :p
2nd June is the happiest moment for my friend, Ivone… y?! As always said marriage is one of every girl’s dream… ^ ^ n it’s that nite for Ivone… Omedeto, von… I also feel so happpyyy… dunno why, I just like to attend friends n relative’s wedding… The bride n groom seem to be very very very happy… That’s why I feel very happy also… La ~ la ~ la ~… Haha
Back to the main point… Actually that’s the very first time I attended someone’s wedding in Msia… Compare with Indo, it’s actually not much different… There is only some programs are not in the same sequence…
But there’s something that I felt that it’s so fun here… It is when the both the groom n bride’s family went up to the stage to toast with everybody… As the MC asked everybody to stand up, n raise our glass n toast for the best couple that nite, then everybody stood up n raise our glasses… ‘til here it’s still the same…
The next part is the most interested part for me… :p
MC: bla bla blab la (She was speaking in Cantonese n I dun understand at all -_-!!!)
Everybody: Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)
MC: bla bla bla bla bla (Again, it is Cantonese >.<)
Everybody : Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)
MC: bla blab la bla bla (Now u should know what it is, It is Cantonese!!!)
Everybody: Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm seeeeeeeeeennnnngggggggg….. (Then everybody drinks from our own glass)
Do u know what is the fun part here??!!! I wonder why all the uncles in the stage are so energetic in shouting the “Yammmm”. They really did it until they lose their breath, before they continue with the word “Seng”… after that they laughed happily… So cute… Haha…
Before continue to the next story, let me share something that I just learn that nite…
The word of the day “Yam Seng”. I dun really understand what does it mean… But according to my neighbor - The guy who was sitting in the same table with me – He said “Yam Seng” means finishing all the drink in our glasses or something like that :p
It’s like gan bei in mandarin… But I didn’t know that we actually should finish the whole drink in our glasses… No Probs, now, I know… Hehe…
Move on…
After finish the dinner, the married couple was walking around from table to table to toast with the relatives and guests… So u can heard the sound “Yammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Seeeeeeeeeennnnnng” as they move from one table to next table… It’s not a big hall, so still ok, I wonder how if there are 100 tables there, will they still do it?! Haha… Pity them…
When they came to our table, the Groom can’t drink anymore, instead of beer he took the dessert and drink it… Hoho… That’s why I said pity them…
But I also ‘tiok hai liau’ – know why?! Coz I raised my glass which is Red Wine… n as I said before, “yam seng” means we should finished the whole drink in the glass… n that’s exactly what I should do… The groom is so bad also, he’s pointing to my glass and said “haiyo, should finished it”, as I see everybody finished their drink… so did I… >.<
At the moment I finished it, I feel like burning – like Dumbledore’s phoenix in Harry Potter… Haha… So HOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTT… Siau khi… n of course I were turning red like tomato…
However, it’s fun to be there though… Hehe… n I also brought home chocolate which is packed nicely in the small gold colored box…
So nice… Haha…
